Enter your details in the registration form. Your email address will later be your username.

You will receive an email from us with a confirmation link. Please click on the link to confirm your registration. If you don’t receive this email, please check your „spam“- folder.

You can select your company directly during registration or after your registration in the participation section under "Settings".

Starting on May 1, you can enter the days you are active, by logging in with your personal access data (email address & password). Then, on your personal page, click on days in the calendar, enter the numbers of kilometers with details of the activity, and then click on “save activity”!

You track your daily activity with a fitness tracker? Then simply convert your tracked steps. You can also track your steps during fitness classes and convert them into kilometers.

Please log in and click on “Settings” in the personal section. You can change or completely delete your data here. This is also where you can choose whether your name should be visible for your colleagues.

Alternatively, to delete data without logging in, write a short, informal email to admin@fitforwork-bertelsmann.de.

The website/app is available in German and English. The website/app recognizes your web browser settings and automatically displays German or English. You can also manually select between languages in the menu bar.

In the log-in area the website will be shown in the language you selected. To make changes, please log in and click on "Settings" in the personal area. Change the language selection here and confirm the changes by clicking on "Save changes".

Company rankings are a motivator for more activity - select your company and be active together with your colleagues. You can select your company right when you register or after logging in, under “Settings” in the participation section. You can easily select your company by selecting the country and location. If you can’t find your company, please send us a brief email to fitforwork@bertelsmann.de.

Alternatively, you can participate without affiliating yourself to a company. As an individual starter, you only need to select your country.

To change your company, log in and select a different company under “Settings.”

Virtual team building supports the motivation of each other. Within your company you can form a team with up to six colleagues.

How to form a team:

1 Log in

After successful registration, log in with your user data and click on the “Team” tab on your Dashboard.

2 Assign team names

Enter your desired team name, confirm the conditions for sending emails, and enter the email address of the first team member.

Only colleagues who have selected the same company, are not yet members of a team and have made their full name visible in the privacy settings will be displayed in the list.

You are automatically a team member and do not have to invite yourself.

3 Invite other team members

Click on the "Team” tab again and invite more participants to join your team.

4 The team is formed

The colleagues are informed by e-mail and are automatically members of the team. Members can be deleted at any time under the "Team" tab.

Teams can have a maximum of 6 participants. So your colleagues can either join another team or form their own team with other colleagues.

To switch teams, log in and cancel your team membership. Now you can be added to a team again by other colleagues.

To change the team’s name, log in with your usual access data. On your dashboard, select the “Team” tab. Enter the new name you want for your team. The new name will be immediately valid.

You can use this website in the same quality with all devices such as tablets, PCs, laptops and smartphones. The website has a „responsive design“, meaning that it adapts to the characteristics of each end device to optimally display the content, regardless of the display size.

The registration is done with the login data of the website. So if you don't have an account yet, please register on the website first.

The app displays everything that is also visible on the website - total kilometres, rankings, teams, fundraising, prizes, etc.

With the Fit for Work app, you can easily transfer your actively travelled kilometres from the Android/Apple health interfaces to the app. You decide daily which workouts or total kilometres should be imported into the Fit for Work app.

Only the distance travelled (kilometres) in a day is transmitted. Other information from the health apps, e.g. location data, is not transmitted.

There is no automated synchronization. You actively decide which kilometers are transferred.

If you use other apps to track your kilometers in your daily life, ensure that Apple Health or Google Fit is connected to these apps. We have no control over the data transmission between other apps and Apple Health/Google Fit.

Of course, it is still possible to enter the kilometres manually via the website and in the Fit for Work app.

Open the app and, after logging in, select the "Peformance" menu item. Click on "Add" and simply enter your performance data as usual. Alternatively, select "Data Import" and transfer performances from Apple Health or Google Fit.

The first time you select "Import data" when recording your performance, you will be directed to your smartphone settings. Allow the Fit for Work app to access the health data. That's all there is to it!"
